Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: your email address, a hashed password (never the password itself), and your chosen display name.
• Product data: conversations, messages, personalities you create, and council sessions you run.
• Billing info: if you subscribe, Stripe collects and stores your payment details directly - MeowByte never sees or stores your card number.
• Basic technical data: IP address and request metadata, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

Where it's processed

MeowByte runs entirely on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, KV, R2). Three subprocessors see relevant slices of your data to make the product work:

• OpenRouter receives the content of a message when generating a reply, to route it to the model you selected.
• Stripe handles subscription billing and payment details for Pro and Max accounts.
• Cloudflare hosts the application, database, and sends transactional email (verification, password reset).

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't use your conversation content to train models. We don't share conversation content with anyone beyond the model provider needed to generate your reply.

Your controls

You can delete individual conversations or personalities at any time, or delete your account entirely from account settings, which removes your data from MeowByte's database.
